When Luc "Lucifer" Bontrager wakes up to Lilith - the satanic, sociopath bitch he left for dead in the desert - holding a gun to his head, his first thought is the girl he's got stashed in the club's basement. That's how he knows he's fucked.

He's lived his life kidnapping women and training them for Lucifer's Legion Motorcycle Club to sell as sex slaves. Now, he's caught up in the innocent young girl he's supposed to hand over to a Mexican cartel boss in a few days. There's no way in hell he's letting her go.

But Luc can't save her if he's dead, so this time Lilith won't get away from him alive.

NOMAD is the second installment in the Lucifer's Legion Motorcycle Club series and continues Luc's story from Lilith.

Nomad is the second installment of Lucifer's Legion MC. In this installment Lucifer wakes up to Lilith and a club house fire.

 

After he escapes the fire he finds out that the girl that he has been training was strung up in a tree. He blames it all on Lilith and was glad he left her behind in the fire. Lucifer begins to feel a little remorse about selling his girl as a sex slave however he doesn't stop it from happening. Lilith returns and Lucifer discovers her secret. At the end Lilith life is threatened and Lucifer decides to save her. She shouldn't be punished because of her condition. This is a crazy, quick read. Lucifer shows some feelings and seems to have developed a little bit of a saviors complex. I'm excited for the next installment. I need to know how Lilith became Ambers guardian.

In this final installment of Hansel our questions are answered and more details are revealed. Hansel Part 4 picks up in front of Mother's house with Lucas providing us more details of his past. In Mother's house Lucas pushes himself too far and goes over the edge. Lucas admits partial truth to Leah and an unexpected person reveals the remainder. There are a few surprises that gives us a more human side to Lucas. The end can be best summarized with the simple quote "Together, baby, all we need is half to make a whole." I enjoyed the series and the twists. Ella James is the queen of erotic, twisted and dark fairy tales!

Dom Wars 3 is centered around Tara beating her past demons. She has three demons to expel. She fails badly at the challenges however Lucian saves the day. The challenges are very personal and unexpected. I'm not sure how being put in a personal and uncomfortable position makes you a good Dom. Tara does discover the truth about her parents and it could have broken her. Lucian help her tear down her walls and face her disappointments. Lucian is still a blubbering mess at time. Yes, he loves her. Got it. Not sure how he fell in love so quickly and became a wuss. I'm ready for them to quit. Next up it's Lucian's turn to meet his past demons.


Dom Wars 4 it's Lucian's turn at beating his past demons and angering Tara. What does angering your partner have to do with being a top Dom? Again why such personal challenges? Lucian fails his first demon challenge but does a pretty goo job humiliating Tara. I thought kinks were to be agreed upon by both partners before performed. Isn't this breaking some Dom/sub code? Lucian's final two domination challenges take place at his parents home and all hell breaks loose during his Mother's birthday party. Tara steps up to the plate to assist Lucian with his domination of his Father. You go girl! Lucian and Tara had violated a no contact rule prior to the final domination. At the end they find out that their rule breaking was discovered and they had to bear the consequences.

This is where I shut the door on Lucian and Tara's story. Although the premise was intriguing and the story it self did not pan out. I'm not sure what is the point of Dom Wars. At times it like an emotional survivor.

Oh No No No! I can't wait for the next book!
We pick up right where left off. Hansel aka Edgar has decided not to take Leah to Mother's house. He's become cold and distant. Leah doesn't give up. She want her Hansel.

"I want to touch him. I want to make him feel me. Now that I finally found him, I'm not letting him go without a fight."

Edgar does anything he can to push Leah away. He wants her gone. Leah shares her demons with Edgar trying to convince him that she's not a good girl. We learn a lot more about Edgar's past from his flashbacks. A little more is revealed about Shelly. We discover that his relationship with Mother is WARPED! Leah finally convinces Edgar to bring her to Mother's house. She wants closure. We are left with Edgar having a flashback that will rock Leah's world (and mine). I really, really need the next installment. Ella James knows how to keep us on our seats.

Hunter Easton is a reclusive author who spends time on a fanfic website ironically under the alias of Wolf Hunter. Hunter had made a close friend on the website, Lone Wolf. They had been chatting and Lone Wolf had shared his written works including The World Tree. Hunter had been in a funk and was not able to produced an over due eighth book for his Wolf's Landing Series. After reading The World Tree it all came together and Hunter would change Kevin's (aka Lone Wolf) life for ever.

I found the first 25% of the book difficult to get through. It provided insightful background information on fanfic and a little of Hunter's past. It was long though. The story picks up once Kevin is offered a deal to publish The World Tree as part of the Wolf's Landing Series. Things begin to heat up for Kevin with his new found career and his relationship with Hunter. After spending eight days together working on the novel they grew closer. They learned how to work and live together, although they both didn't know it yet. As part of their contract they both had to attend book signing and conventions. Kevin had been introduced at a fan convention and he became overwhelmed. It was a lot to take in. Hunter suggested that Kevin take a break. Kevin was unsure of Hunter's motives. Was he sending him away because he didn't need him anymore? Or did Hunter need space? Hunter had always enjoyed his solitude and Kevin wasn't sure if could continue to walk on egg shells when he was at his home.
The Good: The relationship dynamic was complicated and I enjoyed how it worked it self out. The characters had a twenty year age difference and it was evident in the way they communicated.
The Not So Good: At the beginning there is a lot of time spent on explaining the fanfic community. I had lost interest.
I'm happy that I pushed forwarded because I loved the remainder of the story. There is a message to be learned no matter want your sexual preference and that is communication is key. This book is a
good reminder of how important it is to commicate with your partner otherwise your assumptions could be the doom of your relationship.

Hunter, a poker player, an investor and a heir to his family's Bourbon business has found himself in the middle of a missing persons case. He was the last one with her before she had gone missing. Hunter is also being blackmailed by a porn actress, Priscilla, to keep his past hidden.

This book was intense. I could not read it fast enough. Elizabeth (Libby) doesn't fit in with her friends social class. She's no longer a heir to her family's business because her father sold it. We are first introduced to a very insecure Elizabeth.

"I'm still a fat girl. Not a lot fat. Just regular, eats-too-much-good-food fat. The kind of fat that curls the waist of my jeans down and creates an unattractive line of back fat between my pants and my top, just over the butt, when I sit crossed-legged, hunched over one of my textbook."

Elizabeth was attending a party at Hunter's home. At the party she found herself in Hunter's room and they had a brief encounter. Elizabeth had a crush on Hunter since she was a teenager. After she leave's Hunter's room, she runs into Cross. They have a few words, Cross takes off and the accident occurs.

As the story progresses and Elizabeth decides to auction off her virginity, she losses weight and begins to tone up. She arrives as a "virgin at a brothel" in better shape but still insecure because she's a virgin. I couldn't have been happier with who won the auction.

"I've sold my virginity. I can't believe anyone paid $10 million for my hymen."

After the auction the story takes a couple of twists and turns, intense page turners. Ella James hit the mark! 5 intense, sexy and intriguing stars.

Kelli Maine has combined two of my favorite genres into one awesome Dark MC series. At the beginning of the book we are introduced to Lilith and Lucifer (Luc). Luc is part of a Motorcycle Club and is in charge of of training women to sell as sex slaves. It's his specialty.

"Not many of us can accept the darkness inside; that's why they leave this shit to me.

I am fuckin darkeness.

A fuckin' shadown man."

Lilith is taken

"Say goodbye to life as you know it, bitch. You're mine now."

It turns out she is pure evil. Luc knows from the start that Lilith is not right for his club's plans. He decides to get rid of her however she gets under his skin and he leaves her alive. Luc has a hard time forgetting about Lilith.

"I see you.

I know you.

I am you.

If it's true, then it's a fuckin tragedy. Nobody should be like me."

The club still has a deadline too meet and needs a replacement. The club finds a replacement and begins her training. Luc is her trainer and only has a week to get her ready before she's sold. Luc starts to develop feeling for her and finds away to push them down.

At the end Lilith reappears with a message. Now we wait to find out what that messages really means. This is great start to the series. I couldn't put it down. I needed to know where the plot was heading. I need more crazy, evil Lilith! This story is dark and dangerous, and the MC proves to the worst of it's kind.

We previously discovered Ashton was Justine's (JJ) seducer. He was sending her invitations for filthy encounters. After JJ was no longer anger with Ash because she thought he was using her, they ran off to the Hamptons for a hot weekend. We discover that Ash was hiding a big secret. A secret that was keeping him away from JJ until now. The secret was revealed (no surprise) and JJ decides it's a big enough secret to dump Ashton. Ash continues to pursue JJ until he can explain himself and they get back together until the secret comes back to haunt them. Was I cryptic enough? The story was Hot but the plot was not intriguing. No matter how much you want to skip ahead and find the answer, Don't! We resume the story with Justine, JJ, in New York for work. She's an attorney defending her client who's computer program was stolen from him by this previous partner. When Justine first arrives she finds a gift with an invitation. She's intrigued by the invitation and takes the challenge. After three years Ash reappears. He's taken over his family business and seems cold and distant. He's not the same Ash she remembers. Justine continues accepting invitations and playing with her secret admirer while working on her case and debating her feels for Ash. At the end Justine's case is settled, her secret admirer is revealed and were left questioning what she'll do next. You win some, you lose some. I enjoyed the reveal. The story is HOT! I recommend this wild ride.

Quick and simple. Ashton and Justine (aka JJ) have been friends for two years. They promised to be friends and no more. Now, it's two years later and they are celebrating their graduation from graduate school. They both admit to themselves they want each other. They are initially at a bar hanging out with friends and decided to leave and continue their own private party. First they have to fulfill some dares. They get hot heavy during the dares and end up at Ashton's place for a banging good time. Did I mention Ashton is English and is leaving the next day to go back to England to his rich, royal family. Well of course he's rich. We end the story three years later with Justine in NY for work and a surprise gift waiting for her at a borrowed apartment. This was a scorcher. Hot and heavy. I enjoyed that it's short and right to the point.

This story is about Marc, Lincoln and Nathalia. We met them briefly in 'Unforgivable Sin'. Marc meets Nathalia when she hires him to be her escort for an evening. Their relationship grows as Marc spends more time with Nathalia. At the same time he's introduced to Lincoln Cash. Nathalia asks Marc to plan a date and share his fantasies with her. She as well wants to share her fantasies with him. On their date Natalia discovers she likes it rough. She a little bit of a masochist while Marc is a touch sadistic. When it's Nathalia turn she tells Marc she would like Lincoln to join in however she takes it one step further and shares that Lincoln is bi-sexual. Marc admits that he's bi-sexual also. Although they seem the perfect match Marc still has a difficult time trusting that they can all be together without feeling jealous. Plus Marc hasn't shared with his friends that he's bi. He uses the excuse he hasn't told his friends because of his job.




Marc and Lincoln also have a difficult time admitting their feeling towards each other.

"It sounds like you two have chemistry that you don't know what to do with. Maybe your need for the other is so strong that it frightens you both, so instead of talking about it or accepting it, you find ways to fight it, but eventually you succumb to the lust of it all."

There is emotional turmoil, acceptance, hot bedroom scenes and of course a happy ending (figuratively and literally). I really enjoyed this last book. The characters learn to love and accept their relationship while understanding each other.

Our first impression of Adam is of an avenger. We meet Adam again several years later rescuing Dr. Olivia Lang. Adam and Olivia have an instant connection. Although Adam feels he's "trash from East L.A.", Olivia feels otherwise. Olivia is in her mid-forties and hadn't found love. However "Being with Adam tore her inhibitions away, turning her into a shameless animal, with his satisfaction and pleasure the only goal." She also feels like a cougar because of their age difference.

However Adam had hiding a secret from Olivia and after an incident with one Olivia's patients he decides to reveal the truth to Olivia. Will Olivia accept Adam's secret? Adam and Olivia's relationship felt rushed. They met, felt mutual attraction, trusted each other and Adam shared his secret. It seemed too easy. I liked the premise but needed more character development.
